Jozef Cseres (born 1961 in Nové Zámky, Slovakia) is a Slovakian is a multimedia artist and musicologist.
He teaches aesthetics, philosophy, music and fine arts at Comenius University in Bratislava Music Academy in Banská Bystrica and the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno. In January 1990, together with Milan Adamciak and others he founded an organization SNEH (Society for Non-Traditional Music). SNEH also organized alternative music festival Sound Off (1995-2002), which was founded by Joseph Cseres and Michal Murin. In 1997 he became director of the Slovak Rosenberg Museum.
Cseres is part of Duo Rozpeti with Marian Palla. He also runs a publishing house called HeyeRMEarS/Discorbie focused on non-traditional music. He currently lives and works in Brno.
