Udo Moll (born 1966 in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany) is a German musician, he plays trumpet, melodica, cello, electronics.
Minor studied empirical cultural studies at the University of Tübingen. In 1992 he began studying trumpet and composition at the Hochschule für Musik Köln.
Moll worked with Guildo Horn, Hella von Sinnen, Frank Köllges, Matthias Schubert, Nils Wogram, Gerry Hemingway and Moritz Eggert. He contributed to the realization of the dance performance Spirales by Eleonora Allerdings und Gorm Neergard. He also founded the international septet Novotnik 44, the winner of the second prize at the International Jazz Festival in Getxo / Spain and finalist at the International Jazz Competition by the Leverkusen Jazz Days. He founded La Banda Metafisica together with Nicolao Valiensi. With Sebastian Gramss and Matthias Muche he plays in the improvisation project Das mollsche Gesetz, which has worked with John Tilbury, Elliott Sharp, the Institut für Feinmotorik and Sidsel Endresen. He is also a member of the Schäl Sick Brass Band and Multiple Joy[ce] Orchestra.
